More about templekwarri.com

King Solomon had a quarry (kwarri) where his workforce prepared stones with which to build the Temple of God. In 1 Kings 6:7 it says, “In building the temple, only blocks dressed at the quarry were used, and no hammer, chisel or any other iron tool was heard at the temple site while it was being built.” (NIV)

The quarry in Solomon’s time are significant and symbolic for me in two ways:

  • As a writer, I have to chisel words, phrases and sentences (stones) in order to build a house of words. My heart is that the finished song or poem or blog will bring glory to God, and touch your heart.
  • My prayer is also that the Holy Spirit will use the word-houses which I build to chisel at the hearts of living stones, in order that God, who is the Master Builder, will perfectly fit us all together in His spiritual House, His Church.

So, there you have it, keep on following Jesus and allow Him to mold you for His GLORY!!!
